"Love is Ageless" is the 2008 theme for National Nursing Home Week. Many of us who minister to them believe that Love is truly ageless, especially where our senior saints are concerned.

May 11th marks the start of National Nursing Home Week, which has been celebrated since 1967 after being established by the American Health Care Association (ACHA).

"Love is Ageless" is this year's theme for the celebration which honors the residents and staff of our nation's nursing home facilities. We at Faithful Friends would like to encourage you to visit an elderly friend or relative at a local facility, and experience the joy you can bring to their life and yours. They truly prove that "Love is Ageless" and is a hidden treasure found in our local healthcare facilities.

James M. Borrie, author of "Peter Pan", said " Those who bring sunshine into the lives of others cannot keep it from themselves." Over the last 16 years, our lives have been enriched by visiting the elderly, and this quote has rung true time and time again.
