The Wasserman's Christmas 2002 Letter

We carry on with our involvement with Torch Prison Ministry for the youthful offenders at Indian River Correctional and were privileged to serve on retreats in Feb. & June.
The Faithful Friends Nursing Home Ministry Website keeps growing in helping to equip those caring for the elderly. We will be hosting a National Ministry Networking Seminar in January for others who have similar ministries.
Our travels took us to Michigan to visit friends & family, Charleston, SC, for Thanksgiving with Larry’s sister & family, and North Carolina for an early Christmas with the family.
Sean is enjoying his new job as Director of Worship with a youth ministry in Johnson City, TN called Ground Zero. This year they have already touched over 1000 young lives. Sean is about to release a new CD under the Incubator Music Label. Angie continues to progress in her nursing career.
Matt, Steph, and grandpuppy, Sammi, are enjoying their new home in North Carolina. Matt is doing well as sales manager with Lance and we are so proud of Steph as she is now #2 in command at the Craven County Planning Dept. Matt was asked to be Best Man at Larry’s nephew David’s wedding next fall.
Adam recently passed the first part of the Florida Real Estate Exam and is eagerly waiting to become a Realtor. Nikki still loves her 3rd grade teaching job at a private school.
Larry’s son, Scott, continues to do well in management for Evend.net, while his wife, Vicki, has been preparing to become a new mother in Mid-January. We were surprised and elated when Scott called on Dec. 15 to let us know that AIDEN WILLIAM, was born the night before, coming in at over 7 pounds! The mother and baby are fine and we are looking forward to meeting our new grandson.
On Feb. 7, Sandy’s Mom, Selma, went to be with our Lord. On our last visit with her in Michigan we were able to give her our full attention, tell her that we loved her, and with laughter we shared our favorite memories. When we left, we cried and hugged as if we knew it would be our last tine together on this earth. She was almost 89 years young.
We wish you all God’s very best for the New Year. God loves every one of you and so do we!
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
Isaiah 9:6
These verses from the Holy Scriptures were written over 700 years before the birth of Jesus Christ. This was one of over 300 prophecies that foretold the details of His Birth & Life that we are now celebrating. This one event has had more impact than any other in history. Today, like on that special day, Wise Men still seek him.
