Who We Are

Faithful Friends is a a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization whose mission is to encourage and equip individuals & groups who are interested in ministering to the confined elderly in nursing homes. We do this by providing online resources, sending ministry materials by mail, and working directly with groups within North Carolina.

For the past 21 years, we have been supporting this minstry mostly from our own private funds. As of June 4, 2013, Faithful Friends Nursing Home Minstry, Inc. was granted the status of a non profit 501 (c) (3) organization.

We would like to share our experiences,newsletter, and materials with other groups and individuals with a heart for nursing home ministry.

We maintain a comprehensive web site on the internet, which includes how to get started, printable resources, references, related links, and the "Love Notes" Online Newsletter. This site is regularly updated and our newsletter contains lots of useful information. A monthly drawing gives away valuable nursing home ministry materials. Information about other related organizations such as The SonShine Society is also provide.

Almost anyone of any age can participate in nursing home ministry. Only a concern for the elderly and a desire to provide Christian care giving is required. The residents are just sitting there, waiting for you to visit.
