A Tribute to the Sept. 11 Tragedy

SPECIAL NOTICE:

The remembrance of events from September 11 continues to have a tremendous impact on all our lives, but especially on the lives of the confined elderly. For some of them the TV is their best friend, and this week's recalling of the sights and sounds could be horrifying.

These residents experience hopelessness and depression on a regular basis and need some "Faithful Friends" to visit with them and share the Comfort, Hope, and Peace that is found in Jesus Christ and in God's Word.

Here are some Resources that might help you in your weekly visits:

SPECIAL REQUEST: In remembering this Special Time, we would like you to consider that the need of the victims of this tragedy is ongoing. We would like to suggest that you might want to go online with your favorite charitable service organization and make a credit card donation. Whatever agency you select, go to their authenic web site and direct the donation to a specific need. You may also want to verify that the donation is a "secure transaction".
